Happy Friday! Today we’re super excited to share the next post in our fall city guide series: NYC! We were in New York for Fashion Week earlier this month—and while it’s always a whirlwind of shows, parties and meetings, the weather was so beautiful that we made sure to get outside and enjoy some time off the runway, too. Our friend Caralyn met up with us to share some of her favorite spots in the city, and we had so much fun taking in the sights and sounds together. Scroll to see the highlights from our weekend and bookmark this page for your next trip to the city! What’s your favorite time of year to visit NYC?
Upper East Side
“I love this neighborhood because you get the museums and Central Park! Spend the morning at The Met or The Frick, walk down the park along Fifth Avenue, then grab brunch at Sarahbeth’s—the lemon and ricotta pancakes are to die for!”
“Such fun hustle and bustle in this area! Grab a cocktail at The Rose Bar at the Gramercy Park Hotel and watch for celebrities. Then shop and take a cooking class at Eataly, a nearby Italian market. I can’t say no to gelato!”
“Make sure to spend some time in Washington Square Park, an iconic NYC spot. Catch a show at Comedy Cellar—lots of famous comedians got their start here and still drop in—then treat yourself to a slice of pizza at Joe’s and cookie dough at Do!”
Shop the look: Heartloom Sweater Coat | Free People Thermal (easy tunic length) | Cosabella Bralette | Spanx Moto Leggings (perfect for walking around all day) | P448 Sneakers | Thirty-Nine 42 Earrings and Necklace
“A must for shopping! I could spend all day wandering these cobblestone streets and popping into the fun shops on every corner. Stop into Sadelle’s for the best bagels in New York City and Ladurée for macarons and coffee when you need a break!”
