Denim season is here, and we have all been on the hunt for the perfect pair of jeans.  Hopefully, our previous denim posts on your must-have jeans for fall and answers to all of your denim styling questions have led you to the holy grail of the perfect pair of denim.

But now that you have taken the leap and pulled the trigger on a pair of premium denim, you might be left wondering how in the world you should care for them to keep your investment looking brand new wash after wash.  There is so much confusion and so many myths about the right way to wash and care for your jeans.

Today we are solving all those problems for you.  We have invited Patric, the laundry fanatic behind The Laundry Evangelist, to share with you everything you ever needed to know about how to properly wash your designer denim.

The Secret to Caring For Your Jeans – An Insider Look With EVEREVE

Patric, the Laundry Evangelist, shares his tips and tricks for washing designer clothing. Check it out here:

Are You Supposed to Wash Designer Denim Jeans?

Absolutely! The best thing about designer denim is that it only needs to be washed occasionally. In other words, if there are noticeable stains or smells, then it’s time for a wash. Keep in mind that more washing and drying can cause your jeans to deteriorate more quickly.

How Many Times Can You Wear Jeans Before Washing?

Raw, stiff denim can be worn up to 10 times or more, depending on what you use them for. If you are active in your jeans, the benchmark may be a bit lower. Stretchy jeans that contain a cotton blend generally need more frequent washing (3-5 outfits before a wash).
