EVEREVE: What was the catalyst for creating EVEREVE denim?

MK: After 10 years of living in skinnies, we’re seeing a denim renaissance, and an explosion of new silhouettes. Any time we’re transitioning trend, there’s a learning curve with comfort level, and we feel like we’re uniquely qualified to meet people where they’re at—more so than other fashion brands.  

EB: When we think about how emotional and personal denim can be (especially when it comes to fit) we wanted to provide an option that’s super flattering and easy to wear, so she wasn’t wondering, “Does this fit my body? Can I pull off this trend?”. We really felt passionate about the concept of a universal fit. Any time someone who is 5’4” and a size 26 can wear the same jean as someone who is 5’10” and a size 31, it’s a win—and that was really at the heart of the objective of launching EVEREVE denim. 

EVEREVE: In regards to fit & wash, what was your starting point?

MK: We definitely leaned heavily into measurements that we know work well, from years of selling and curating denim and bottoms. For instance, not too high of a rise that it’s going to be uncomfortable or scary—but something that’s high enough to hold you in, in a really flattering way. And a length that feels easy to pair with your favorite shoes! 

EB: Exactly. We didn’t want it to be so extreme. That’s why we think EVEREVE denim will be really important to the modern woman who’s not willing to compromise comfort, and has a very full and busy life. She doesn’t want her denim to feel fussy or hard to style. She shouldn’t have to stand in her closet for 15 minutes to try to figure out how to wear a new trend—we wanted to make it very accessible for her.
